American First Energy LLC is exploring conventional oil and gas prospects in the Wilcox formation which stretches along the U.S. Gulf Coast from the Mexican border to the Mississippi River.

The Wilcox formation has been a prolific producer and has vast remaining resources. The U.S. Geologic Survey estimates that the Wilcox has approximately 6.9 billion barrels of oil & gas equivalent in undiscovered recoverable resources. The technology we employ makes it possible for us to discover large reserves in the Wilcox.

Complimenting the vast resource potential of the Wilcox, the region has a large network of gas pipelines and refineries with spare capacity.
